Feeling well can be hard. Sometimes it seems like endless things can get in the way of feeling our best selves. In this series, we dive into the science and practice of emotional well-being by exploring the what, why and how. You’ll walk away with your own set of strategies to support your emotional well-being. You can choose to explore the modules in any order but we recommend starting with the introduction (Module 1) and ending with the road ahead (Module 7).

Introduction

This module is an introduction to the series Emotional Well-Being: The Science and Practice of Feeling Well, and provides an overview of concepts foundational to emotional well-being.

Physical Health

This module focuses on physical health. You’ll learn about components of physical health (e.g., sleep, diet, and exercise) and their influence on emotional well-being, right along with building your understanding of the brain’s flexibility.

Positive Emotions

This module focuses on positive emotions. You’ll learn about the value of positive emotions, successful aging with positive emotions, and incorporating positive emotions into everyday life.

Sense of Meaning

This module focuses on sense of meaning. You’ll learn to define sense of meaning, explore the factors that influence it, and learn strategies to build your own sense of meaning.

Life Satisfaction

This module focuses on life satisfaction. You’ll learn to define life satisfaction, explore the factors that influence it, and learn strategies to enhance your life satisfaction.

Goal Pursuit

This module focuses on goal pursuit. You’ll learn what goes into goal pursuit, the factors that influence goal achievement, and practice creating your own goals.

The Road Ahead

This module is a conclusion to the series. You’ll have opportunities to reflect on and plan for the future of your emotional well-being.
